Announces Events at 2003 GITA
(Englewood, Colorado - February 27, 2003)- SPATIALinfo,
a specialist supplier of network information solutions, today announced
events it would be hosting at the 26th annual Geospatial Information
and Technology Association's (GITA) conference, to be held March
2 through March 5, 2003, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center
in San Antonio, TX. These events coincide with SPATIALinfo's
exhibit in booth #901 of the convention exhibit hall.
On Monday March 3rd, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, Mark Zangari, CTO
of SPATIALinfo,
will lead an impressive panel focusing on database technology in
Geospatial applications. Joining him in the discussion will be representatives
from Oracle and Autodesk, as well as end users in government and
the cable industry.
On Monday March 3rd, from 3:00 pm- 4:00pm in the Autodesk booth
(#902), Ken Heitmann, Subject Matter Expert on Power for SPATIALinfo
will demonstrate the latest version of SPATIALnet/Power.
Also on Monday March 3rd, at 4:15 pm in the Autodesk booth (#902),
SPATIALinfo
will present three customer success stories. Featured will be Duane
Holt, Supervisor of Graphics and Mapping, Intermountain REA; Sean
Bristol Director of Network Engineering for Comcast Seattle; and
Brant Melick, GIS Program Supervisor, Public Works Technical Services
Division, City of Springfield, Oregon. Directly following this presentation
all three customers will be available to talk further about their
experiences in the SPATIALinfo
Booth (#901).
On Tuesday March 4th, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm in the SPATIALinfo
booth, Brandt Melick, GIS Coordinator for the City of Springfield,
OR, will demonstrate the benefits of effective use of GIS applications
in a small city environment.
On Tuesday March 4th, from 5 pm to 6 pm, SPATIALinfo
and SophSys will present a demonstration of an integrated solution
for the power industry in booth #901. Functionality being shown
will include seamless database and GIS mapping capabilities, coupled
with design, engineering, estimating and ordering in a single platform.
